What a week. It is hard to believe we are already past the halfway point of September. Autumn begins next week, the elections are only six weeks away, and before we know it, 2022 will be over.
I have quite a few plans for this newsletter as time permits:
I plan to pull clips from my recent interviews and post them individually, for those who don’t have time to listen to the whole hour.
I also plan to interview more candidates in the Treasure Valley.
I will be writing some profiles on various Democratic candidates, explaining what they stand for and looking at their electoral strategies.
I will finish the Great Reset series.
I want to create some long form documentary style videos about various cultural, historical, and political concepts. I would like to make these available first to paid subscribers, as a way of saying thank you for supporting me.
In the meantime, here are some things that are going on in our community and our world:
I recorded a short video yesterday expressing my frustration with turncoat Republicans like Jim Jones and Senator Fred Martin, who have both endorsed Democrats in this year’s election. Check it out, and remember to subscribe to the channel!
At the Idaho Freedom Foundation, Anna Miller and Scott Yenor describe in awful detail how our state government and public school system are offering porn literacy and other deviant ideas to our students. The Department of Health and Welfare issued a statement denying the report, even as they scrubbed their website of incriminating evidence. Apparently they do not know how the internet works - once something is online, it is there forever.
Also at the IFF, Bryan Hyde has been doing some incredible work with his Nowhere to Hyde series on YouTube. The most recent episode looks at the Boise Pride Festival and why conservatives have a problem with attempts to push these ideas on our children. He quotes from my recent post about the event (and it is surreal hearing my words in his amazing voice!) as well as Brandon Smith of Alt-Market.us, whose piece from last June is worth reading as well.
Another great YouTube channel is that of Auron MacIntyre, who posts short videos about political philosophy as well as in depth discussions with a wide variety of thinkers from across the internet. He recently chatted with conservative stalwart Will Chamberlain about how Republicans can use political power to reward their friends and punish their enemies, the way the Democrats are now.
Tim Pool’s show is often worth watching, as he sits down for a two hour panel discussion with important figures from politics and culture five nights a week. Earlier this week he sat down with Devin Nunes, former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and current head of Trump’s Truth Social. The discussion about the Russia collusion hoax and how the witch hunt into President Trump and his supporters was fascinating.
Finally, the Royal Family YouTube channel has been posting videos of the various ceremonies commemorating the life of Queen Elizabeth II. They are all interesting to watch, as the new King and his family engage in time honored rituals that remind us of our heritage. At 1:02:40 in this video, the principal proclamation is read out at St. James’ Palace. As Americans, we long ago rejected monarchy, and it furthermore seems out of place in this modern era. Yet I appreciate the fact that there is a living link to some of the most ancient traditions of Western Civilization. After all, our Founding Fathers were not attempting to create something novel in the New World, but to protect their time-honored liberties as freeborn Englishmen, liberties that had been fought for by their own ancestors over many centuries.
I hope you all have a great weekend. Thank you so much for all your support and encouragement.
So disappointing that the Republicans are putting Party affiliation over Principles and Country.
Unaffiliated candidates Scott Cleveland (U.S. Senate) and Ammon Bundy (Idaho Governor) both were long-time registered Republicans. Knowing that the Republican incumbent organizations were so powerful, they had to switch to unaffiliated in order to give Idahoans a choice: Freedom and Liberty vs. well, the opposite.
