It was a busy day at the Capitol with a couple of long committee hearings and two media events. I joined Matt Edwards on Idaho Signal in the morning and then helped set up IFF’s Twitter Space featuring Ron Nate, Fred Birnbaum, and Niklas Kleinworth.
Make sure you’ve bookmarked the Gem State Chronicle to stay updated each day. The Session Snapshot is especially helpful —I’ve updated the current status of all the bills I’m following as well as Freedom Index ratings where applicable. Follow me on Twitter as well —that’s the fastest way to hear about legislative updates. I’ll be live tweeting the conclusion of the fentanyl bill hearing tomorrow afternoon.
I’ll have more articles and analyses out soon. In the meantime, Treasure Valley friends mark your calendars for the Gem State Republicans annual Lincoln Day Dinner in Emmett on Saturday, February 3. It will be my privilege to be the featured speaker for the event.
I’ve gotten to know the Gem County Republicans over the past two years, ever since they were joined with Eagle as the new Legislative District 14. They’re great folks and I urge you to come support them at their big event.
Willow Grove is a lovely location as well, so I hope to see you all there!
