Upcoming Interview!
You won't want to miss my talk with Wayne Hoffman of the Idaho Freedom Foundation
Good afternoon friends! The sun is out today and it looks like spring is finally here in the Treasure Valley. I wanted to let you know about a few updates.
First, I will be interviewing Wayne Hoffman of the Idaho Freedom Foundation this Friday at 11am MDT. I will be asking him about the IFF’s new index scores for legislators, his opinions on government excess, the attacks on the IFF by corporate media and establishment Republicans, and how we can take back our state government.
You won’t want to miss this interview! It will stream live at 11am, and then be available in both video and audio formats afterward.
Next, I have heard from several readers this week who are interested in supporting my work here at Gem State with paid subscriptions. First of all, I am humbled that anyone would be willing to pay me for what I do. Being able to make a living by writing is a dream of mine, and I feel honored that there are folks out there who are willing and able to help make that happen.
To that end, I have enabled paid subscriptions for this newsletter. I am not planning to put anything behind a paywall at this time. My intention with this newsletter from day one was to freely provide as much information as I can to as many readers as possible. It is a true privilege to know that my work is being shared throughout the state, and that my analysis is helping to inform Idahoans of what is going on in our politics and our society.
I plan to add some features in the future for paid subscribers, as a way of saying thank you for supporting me. I am still thinking about what those features should be. If you have any ideas, let me know - brian.almon@protonmail.com.
If you are interested in subscribing, click here to see the options. Again, the free subscription is not going away, but if you would like to support me, you can now do that. I appreciate you all!
