Substack suggested I publish a piece that shares some of the articles and creators that I have been reading lately. I think they are hoping I will cross-promote other Substack newsletters. It seems like a good idea, though. There is a lot of great stuff being published, much of it flying under the radar of big names like Fox News or Breitbart.
First, I would like to highlight Action Idaho. They only launched recently but have been making quite a buzz with their bold discussion of Critical Race Theory in public schools, the reticence of our political establishment to fight for basic human rights, and the big picture of how the left is targeting Idaho.
Other great local sites are Greg Pruett’s Idaho Dispatch and Daniel Bobinski’s True Idaho News.
I myself subscribe to several Substack newsletters. Most of these have great free tiers, though some offer more content if you decide to pay.
Raheem Kassam, editor of the National Pulse (where I have contributed now and then for the last two years) has his own Substack where he publishes random musings on culture and politics.
Josiah Lippincott is a Marine Corps veteran and graduate student at Hillsdale College who was banned from Twitter for being too direct with his conservative opinions. He just started his Substack last week as an outlet for his controversial ideas.
Ryan James Girdusky is a political consultant and analyst. Every few weeks he publishes his national populist newsletter where he gives us an overview of what is going on in America and the rest of the world regarding national identity.
Pedro Gonzalez is one of the best young journalists in the business today. Besides serving as senior writer for the prestigious Chronicles Magazine, he has a Substack that he often updates with great takes about politics from a nationalist conservative perspective.
I follow a lot of interesting people on Twitter, too many to list. Here are some that have been posting great stuff lately, in no particular order:
Darren Beattie is a former Trump official who writes about geopolitics.
Auron MacIntyre writes about history and culture.
Martyr Made also writes about history and has a great podcast.
Jesse Kelly is a Marine Corps veteran with a fantastic talk show out of Houston.
David Hines is a jack of all trades who brings a careful eye to social movements.
Andy Ngo has had the best reporting about Antifa for the past four years,
Tim Pool is a YouTuber who hosts long-form discussions with various figures five days a week.
Steve Sailer looks dispassionately at all sorts of data and is never afraid to notice things that are politically incorrect.
Michelle Malkin visited us in Idaho last February, and has long been a fighter for traditional American values.
Elijah Schaffer works with Glenn Beck’s Blaze TV and has unvarnished takes on the news.
Richard Hanania is a political analyst who really digs into the details of various stories.
If I can take a moment to promote my own work, I maintain another blog and podcast where I discuss the big picture of the United States and Western Civilization through the lens of history. I look at where we have been, where we are going, and discuss how we can prepare ourselves and our communities to weather the storms ahead.
I also recently started a Telegram channel where I post my own work, plus interesting articles and memes that I come across throughout the day.
I will be back later this week with a real post. There are many more contested campaigns to discuss, more political issues to dig into, and more details about the web of lobbyists and bureaucrats that make up our political establishment to expose. Subscribe and share!
Pretty strong reading list. Well done.
