When a country that is based on the rule of law disregards it for Big Business, you know that actions matter far more than the words. I used get annoyed that the late Senator John McCain would speak about the importance of getting cheap labor to do jobs Americans wouldn't do. The point would be that Americans will not do it at slave labor rates. There is also an element that does not ever come up about those who want to use the hard labor for those who probably end up on the taxpayers dime for all the other essentials in order to survive.

Really appreciate your analysis of the issues you covered in this post and 100% agree!

I (and perhaps others) would greatly appreciate guidance for how citizens can support or oppose an important bill, resolution, or memorial that you discuss. You're so well informed on all these issues and inner workings!

It takes me a tremendous amount of time to research what you understand so well, and I risk getting it wrong due to inexperience. So, here's a suggestion about how you can help us support good bills and oppose bad ones. Provide the following information at the end of your post:

1. Bill number, short description, and link.

2. Which body (specific committee, entire house, entire senate) to write or call. Example:

-- House Agricultural Affairs: https://legislature.idaho.gov/sessioninfo/2024/standingcommittees/HAGR/

-- EMAIL IDAHO: Email An Entire House Committee: https://emailidaho.com/house-committees/ > Select Agricultural Affairs.

3. Sample Script with Key points (of course, we would customize).
