Republicans had an opportunity to sweep that bureaucrat out....they blew it! start a petition to recall her!

I agree, we need to start getting active and holding these sellouts accountable. It would be interesting to see the left back her up during a recall. That would show plenty.

I don't want to appear "simple" here but applying the new financial paradigm, "go woke, go broke" combined with "vote with your dollars", is the most powerful and easiest applied solution. We have 5 grown children. We yanked the last child out of the public school system in elementary school and home schooled her, 25 years ago before the availability the MANY resources available today. She is by far, of all my kids, the most solid emotionally, socially, financially. And, no, we were not "teachers". A contractor and stay-at-home Mom did that!

Keep writing Brian! The people need to be shaken awake. Post the Trojan video on Substack, sunlight is the best disinfectant!

The bottom line is the ‘establishment’ like Critchfield is scared that the public school system is failing and allowing such changes like ESA’s may simply be an admission that it is. But we even tried telling many legislators that ESA’s allowed in states like Arizona actually improved the public education system. The saddest part of the entire bureaucracy is their focus is almost always about money and not about what is best for the education of Idaho’s children (consider the failed Common Core/SBAC testing etc.). If it is tied to money, then what is best for the education for our children takes a backseat.

Well said. To the left it is always about the money and power they want to retain and they never show results of what they are peddling, because if truthful, they would sink their own ship.

Brian, it looks like you all have your hands full. Now role up your sleeves and go get em.

Excellent points all. When I listened to the Idaho Speaks interviews with Debbie Critchfield before the 2022 primaries and general elections, I smelled a rat. She was only a teensy bit less terrible for education than the incumbent, Sherri Ybarra. Had true education champion Branden Durst won that nomination and election, Idaho would not be in the education pickle it faces now.

VOTERS MUST WAKE UP! They must become educated. Your Substack, IFF, and Idaho Speaks are three of the best resources in Idaho.

P.S. Idaho Speaks just added a Search box and a “tag cloud” to the footer of its website, so now it is super easy to find any interview on the site.

Creating "foot soldiers for the Marxist revolution!?!" As someone who grew up here and went to public schools that is one of the more preposterous things I've read lately. There isn't a single former classmate of mine - and there are hundreds - who would say their Idaho public education trained them to be Marxists. High comedy!
