Brian!! This was absolutely my favorite writing of yours. Thank you so much -absolutely brilliant so eloquent and so well written and so very very true. I hope that our friends on the other side of the aisle will read it and do some introspective thinking -we’re all on this planet together as Citizens of this great Republic!

Bravo!

I don't know, it is still early after this victory to offer an olive branch to a party who called anyone who disagreed with them Nazi's. In the famous words of their progressive hero Barack Hussein Obama, "Elections have consequences". The democrat party is nuts and where can you compromise with an ideology that wants to kill babies, and if they survive groom them and cut off their genitals and give them hormone treatments.? They cannot define a woman, they base their selections on race or gender instead of merit, which in hindsight is one of the reasons they lost heavily. As a longtime conservative I found it frustrating in the past when Republicans would win and not go on with their campaign promises and sellout to the left as a form of unity. It is time to take the agenda too them, because they sure as hell did it to us, even when they had to break the law. My opinion is Pound Sand Lefties!

I’m definitely not calling for compromise. Republicans have a mandate and must use this opportunity to implement a conservative agenda.

“Those that don’t learn from history are destined to repeat it” Your letter reminds me of Bush pulling out of Kuwaiti before the needed job was completed. Some think 911 wouldn’t have happened if we had stayed and removed Saddam Hussein from power.

Republicans have a history of extending the olive branch to democrats and what has that got us? DEI, CRT, wasteful spending, inflation, lawfare, attacks on our 1st and 2nd Amendments, impeachments and constant media attacks and lies.

Democrats and their policies were soundly rejected on 11/5 nationally and in Idaho. To quote Obama “they were shellacked”. Voters gave the Republicans a mandate to change the direction of the country and all our energy will be needed to act quickly and effectively. I for one am enjoying the circular firing squad the democrats are going through and I say we keep passing them ammunition, not bandages.

To kill a vampire you keep hammering the stake in his heart with no let up. Your sentiment is admirable but the last thing Republicans should do at this time is help fix the democrat party, because there is no fix for stupid and history shows we get backstabbed whenever we try.

Good article, but I think that most progressive Democrats will ignore it.

Another great article! You nailed this one. But the diddycrats will never learn. I have a friend ( or maybe ex-friend) who's a local attorney. We've worked together on fund raising over the years for local charities. I know his politics but never entered into that discussion, just enjoyed being around him. I see on FB he posted that if you're a righty and voted for orange man, unfriend him and don't bother talking to him. Here's an educated guy, very involved in community events and just told half his friends and people in the community to pound sand. I understand he has strong beliefs, but, has the MSNBC's and CNN's of the world corrupted the minds of intelligent people? Amazes me that someone could give the media, and that includes all of them, broadcast, print, online, podcast, X, etc, that much controlling power over your own mind.

And if you're wondering, I followed his request.
