Well so that bit about test scores is inaccurate (see the attached video by former WAPA Chair and current school board member David Binetti). Also… Impact fees are illegal for developers to pay to school districts in Idaho so while that suggestion is great in theory, it’s illegal. Of COURSE developers and construction management companies want to help! This is what they DO - build safe buildings for our children to have thriving learning environments! And MANY of them have donated land to West Ada which has saving us money. We applaud that list of people and organizations for stepping up and supporting our children and the future of our Valley! And of course taxes would go down significantly if the levy doesn’t pass - but so will your property values, the quality of education, the safety of the buildings our children spend most of their lives in, the livelihood of our excellent teachers, and on and on and on.
